Works of art don't change. What changes is the way we look at them.

This sweatshirt is inspired by a 15th-century aquamanile depicting the fable of Aristotle and Phyllis, a story used for centuries to warn against the supposed corrupting power of women. Phyllis became a symbol of seduction and dominance; Aristotle, the wise man who had forgotten reason.

This sweatshirt reclaims that image to do just the opposite: reframe its meaning.

Embroidered in golden tones, the inscription "Phyllis, always" is not a celebration of power over others, but rather a vindication of a figure that history reduced to a stereotype. It is an invitation to look at the work again, to ask ourselves who wrote the story that has reached us and what voices were relegated to the margins.
